Schooltime
Showtime

Carrot Productions tour each December with its acclaimed The Snowman Tour, including shows specifically for schools, offering children the chance to experience a Christmas show with a live, professional orchestra.
Christmas 2020 is proving to be a challenge for live music, not only to stage performances, but for schools to take their students out of school. Schooltime Showtime offers a specially recorded version of the music as a streamable concert delivered in-school, alongside a series of unique resources, lesson plans and much more.
Schooltime Showtime involved a special recording session at Stoller Hall in Manchester in the early Autumn to record many of Daniel's compositions and arrangements used on the tour, including:
The Bear and the Piano
This beautifully illustrated tale of music, friendship and adventure was first adapted as a motion book in 2017, in a version commissioned by Carrot Productions which captures the essence of the original. With a beautiful score by Daniel Whibley, and a narration recorded by superstar Joanna Lumley, this entrancing creation has become a firm family favourite.
Christmas Overture
A toe-tapping Christmas medley of well-known songs and carols, it’s the perfect piece to get audiences into the festive spirit. Originally commissioned by Carrot Productions to front their Snowman Tour, it has since been played around the world and become a perennial favourite of the BBC Philharmonic’s Christmas concerts.
Festive Guide to the Orchestra
A fun and festive tour of the orchestra, each instrument is introduced by a poem and features in specially arranged pieces of music.
Snowman Waltz
Daniel created this light and festive Waltz to accompany Carrot Productions’ dancing Snowman at the first half of the show.
